Rock Island High School student MyKeisha Wells was recognized as Youth Citizen of the Year at the Rock Island City Council Meeting on Monday, August 28.

 

Ms. Wells is a senior and was recently recognized as a Charles O. Austin Jr. Scholar for maintaining a GPA of 3.5 or above for six semesters at Rock Island High School. 

 

She will be honored in the Rock Island Labor Day Parade on Monday, September 4.
