There are many opportunities to get involved with the Rock Island-Milan School District. RIMSD#41 also asks for community representation in Coffee & Conversation forums, the annual district satisfaction survey and in the RIMSD #41 strategic plan.

 

The Rock Island-Milan School District works with volunteers and community partners on the First Day Project School Supply Drive and the Rock Island-Milan Community "Check and Connect" group, an affiliation of educators, service providers and private citizens who are interested in enriching the lives of children in the Rock Island-Milan School District. The Superintendents Communication Council is made up of parent representatives (two from each school building) who meet with the Superintendent once a month during the school year. The goal of the council is to provide an avenue of information for parents to share with other parents at the building level and identify educational concerns from a parent perspective.
