Student Registration
2024-2025 School Year
The first day of school day for the RIMSD#41 2024-2025 school year is August 5th, 2024.
Starting Wednesday, April 24, 2024, parents can log into Skyward Family Access and use the Registration tile to complete registration. All parents/guardians MUST provide proof of residency. Families have until May 31st to do so. ALL STUDENTS MUST BE REGISTERED IN SKYWARD AND PRESENT TWO FORMS OF PROOF OF RESIDENCY TO START SCHOOL ON MONDAY, AUG 5th.
This is required for new AND returning students. You can present the residency documentation to your school during school hours. Students not registered or who have not provided the two proofs of residency will not be allowed to attend school on Monday, August 5th.

IN-PERSON REGISTRATION
Those who do not register and provide proof of residency to your child's school by May 31st will need to register in person. In-person registration dates will be Wednesday, July 17, and Thursday, July 18 from 11:00 am - 7:00 pm at Rock Island High School.

Children who are five years of age on or before September 1st of the current school year will be permitted to enter kindergarten. Children who are six years of age on or before September 1st of the current school year will be permitted to enter first grade.

New students, including new kindergarten students, must bring: Birth Certificate, Illinois physical and immunization record, a current copy of IEP (if available). Parents must also complete a proof of residency form and bring 2 items of proof of residency. Proof of Residency Form (PDF) below.
Medical Information
All children entering the school district from out of state need to present proof of up-to-date immunizations and a school physical within 30 days of school entrance. No medication can be given in the schools (including over the counter and prescription medications) without written permission from the doctor and guardian. Book Fees
RIMSD is using RevTrak, for online payments. First time users are required to create an account in RevTrak in order to make payments online. If you wish to submit a fee payment, please use the Fee Payments tile on your Skyward Family Access page and click the RevTrak Online Payment link in the upper-right corner of the window.
