The Rock Island/Milan Booster Club is now the sponsor for the James O'Melia Scholarship.  This is awarded to one senior female and male athlete who exemplify outstanding character and involvement in school activities.  This scholarship is not one in which students may apply but rather recipients are chosen by independent committee.
