The Rock Island-Milan School District #41 is inviting the public to a reception honoring retiring Superintendent Dr. Mike Oberhaus.

 

The reception will be held from 4-6 p.m. on Thursday, March 14 at the Hauberg Civic Center, 1300 24th Street, Rock Island.

 

Oberhaus’ retirement caps off a 33-year career with the Rock Island-Milan School District. He first served as director of accounting and computer services in 1986, then comptroller and associate superintendent before being named as superintendent in 2010.
