The Rock Island High School Boys Soccer team was honored at a city council meeting on November 11.
Mayor Mike Thoms made a proclamation, declaring November 11 as RIHS Boys' Soccer Day, for the historic accomplishments they made in the 2019 season.
The Boys' Soccer Team made by bringing home their first-ever regional championship title in RIHS soccer history! Also, making them the first team in the school's history to win a WB 6 Conference Title and Regional title!
