Michael Carton, Director of Education and Outreach at WQPT-PBS has been teaching the students how to code using a free app.

 

The app allows the students to create and animate their own interactive stories and games by snapping together colorful coding blocks. On their last day with Mr. Carton, the students took everything they have learned to create their own story. 

 

The students also had a special visitor during class. State Representative Tony McCombie stopped by to check out the student's work and to get a lesson from students on how to code!
