Third graders at Rock Island Academy got to spend some time with college basketball players.

 

The players were in town for the Missouri Valley Conference Women's Basketball. 

 

Visit Quad Cities and United Way Quad Cities arranged the opportunity for the players to visit elementary schools and read with students. Players from Drake, UNI, Valparalso and Bradley Universities are just a few to name that were there.

 

Students got to read books with the players and ask them questions. 

 

It was the highlight of the student's day!
