Some RIMSD schools benefitted from United Way's Annual Day of Caring. Thousands of volunteers donated their time to help with projects for local agencies and non profits.

 

Volunteers spent the morning at Rock Island Center for Math & Science where they did landscaping and helped spruce up the outside of the school.

 

Then over at Washington Jr. High School, employees from Ascentra Credit Union spent the day scrapping and then painting hallways.
