Jeff Whitaker has been named as the Interim Principal at Rock Island High School after being approved by the Board of Education at a special meeting on Thursday, May 31.

 

Whitaker, a Moline native and graduate of Illinois State University with a Masters in Educational Leadership and a Masters in Curriculum and Instruction from the American College of Education. He is currently Assistant Principal at Marine Leadership Academy, a seventh through 12th grade school in Chicago.

 

Whitaker will be starting his position at Rock Island High School on July 1, 2018.
