Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE)

Our Early Childhood Special Education program consists of four self-contained classrooms and one room for our dually enrolled students that are located at Horace Mann. Each classroom has one teacher and one to two paraprofessionals for support. The sessions from either 8:30am-11:00am or 12:00pm-2:30pm. Class sizes are designed to be around ten students or less in order to provide a smaller class size and to have the teacher-student ratio at a lower number in order to provide more one on one learning opportunities for students.

In addition to our self-contained classrooms, we also have three ECSE teachers that provide push-in inclusion services within our Head Start classrooms.

Our special education services are on a continuum in order to provide the highest quality individualized and specialized services to our students with IEP's.
