The Rock Island High School $10.8 million construction project incudes a major entrance renovation and addition that will have enhanced security features and will house the main, athletic and nurses offices in the same location. A new streamlined drop off area and more staff parking will improve congestion. 

 

The proposed construction will add 38,000 square feet. A groundbreaking was held in August 2021 and will take approximately 14 months to complete the project.
