Earl Hanson Mission Statement "We, the Earl Hanson School Family, will work together with home and community through kindness, honesty, and respect to become confident, capable life-long learners.”

The school serves students in PreK (includes Head Start program) through grade 6. In addition, Earl Hanson offers a Head Start program and also houses the school district gifted program and AVID program. Students also learn AVID strategies to help them become strong leaders. Our students use AVID binders to learn how to best stay organized but we use them as a tool to help facilitate communication between home and school. “AVID Elementary is a foundational component of the AVID College Readiness System, and supports AVID’s mission to close the achievement gap by preparing all students for college readiness and success in a global society.” You can learn more about AVID at their site AVID Elementary.
