RIHS will be administering the PSAT/NMSQT this year during fall intersession on October 15th. Juniors interested in signing up for the test can do so in the main office with Mrs. Nevener. Any girl interested in girls golf we will have tryouts on Monday Aug. 11th at Highland Springs Golf Course Driving Range 4-5:30pm and Tuesday Aug. 12th at Saukie Golf course 4-6 pm. If you have any questions please reach out to Coach Julie Hudnall.
Tryouts for boys soccer will be held on Monday August 11th and Tuesday August 12th. Sports physicals must be turned in and registering on Snap must be completed before you are able to try out.

Any freshman interested in football, please come to our meeting after school on the Island Tuesday and Wednesday at 3:18.
There will be a meeting for all boys interested in golfing this fall. The meeting will be Friday, August 8th at 7:30 in Coach Sharp's room, Commons B.
Dr. Ulrich, Principal of Rock Island High School, is excited to meet the Rock Island community! Join us for a Meet the Principal Night on Wednesday, July 23, from 6:00–7:00 PM at Rock Island High School. The evening will begin with a brief presentation, followed by time to connect informally with Dr. Ulrich. Parents, students, and community members are all welcome. Light refreshments will be served.
Doors open at 4:30 with a short presentation. Students will be able to walk around with their schedule to find their classrooms and lockers. Orientation will end at 6:30.
