Yesterday, Rock Island High School held a Walk of Champions to celebrate our boys soccer team and cross country runner Elliot Batz as they head to state! ⚽🏃♂️
The boys soccer team takes on Washington High School today at 1:30 p.m. in Hoffman Estates, and Elliot will represent Rocky at the IHSA State Cross Country Championship this Saturday, Nov. 8, at Detweiller Park in Peoria.
Let’s go Rocks! ❤️💛
We compete so everyone can eat!
Thank you to everyone across the Rock Island-Milan school community who donated to the 2025 Student Hunger Drive! Because of your generosity, our scholars nearly doubled their goal of 9,500 pounds, by collecting an impressive 17,431 pounds of food! This will provide over 35,000 meals for families in need across the Quad Cities.
This effort reflects the true spirit of our school community - compassion, teamwork, and a commitment to making a difference beyond the classroom. Together, we’re showing what it means to be part of a community that cares. ❤️💛

🎓 Another Successful College Application Day in the books! Thanks to the support of ISAC, Augustana College, St. Ambrose University, University of Southern Illinois – Springfield, Black Hawk College, and our amazing Rock Island High School counselors, 57 scholars received assistance in starting and/or completing 100 college applications! 🌟✨
