Staff and students at Frances Willard Elementary would like to invite veterans in the Quad City area, and any parents that would like to observe Veterans Day.
Enjoy a program with songs, information about Veterans Day, and a poem presented by the students. After the program, we invite our veterans to join our classrooms and share some of their experiences.
When: November 10, 2017 at 1:30p.m.
Where: Frances Willard Elementary School - Gym
Why: Frances Willard students and staff want to honor the veterans in our community. Students have learned about the historical significance of Veterans Day and discussed what it means to be a veteran.
