RIM 2025 - Rock Island-Milan School District Strategic Plan
Over the course of the 2019-2020 school year, Dr. Lawrence and the District Leadership Team reviewed the RIMSD #41 2017-2020 Strategic Plan and work with a strategic planning firm to go through the process of updating the the district's plan to the year 2025.
Several school district stakeholders attended community meetings and were also surveyed through an online form. The District Leadership Team met throughout the Spring 2020 season to put together the mission, vision, core values and priorities. The RIMSD #41 Board of Education approved the RIM 2025 Strategic Plan on August 18, 2020.
The Rock Island-Milan School District's purpose in strategic planning has purposes:
- To provide strategic direction for our district through 2025;
- Serve as an accountability tool to ensure that progress is being made toward the strategic priorities;
- Act as a management tool for setting goals and implementing actions;
- Be an informational piece for the community to convey the district’s mission, vision and core values.
