On Sept. 28 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 pm and Friday, September 29th from 8-10 a.m. in the RIHS library. Maddie Schaefer from ISAC will be available during that time to assist families in setting up their FAFSA ID. The FAFSA ID is your username and password combination to log into the US Dept. of Education, and it also serves as your online signature when filing the FAFSA annually. To create your FAFSA ID, you will need your social security number, email address or cell phone number, full legal name, and date of birth. For students planning on going to college for the 2024-2025 school year, they must complete the FAFSA (which opens in December), and the first step to prepare for that is to create your FAFSA ID, so please join us to complete this step of the process.
