Preschool Screenings are conducted on Wednesdays at the Horace Mann Early Learning Center located at 3530 38th Street, Rock Island, IL 61201. These screenings are by appointment only. If you are interested in scheduling an appointment, the first step is to complete the parent questionnaire by clicking the link below. After submitting the parent form, a Rock Island - Milan Preschool staff member will contact you within 5-7 school days regarding the next steps in the screening process.

What are the goals of Preschool Screening?

• Find out how your child is growing and developing.

• Connect you and your child with early childhood programs and other community

  services that may be needed.

• Answer any parenting questions/concerns you may have.

• Help the school district identify, at an early stage, any possible health or learning

  concerns so that children who may benefit from district and community resources can get help even before starting kindergarten.
