Every year a group called the Bikers 4 Backbacks collects school supplies for the district. The motorcyclists ride into Schwiebert Park for the district's Ready to Rock event and drop off the supplies.
This year they collected nearly 90 backpacks and just under 7,000 individual school supplies. They also raised $3,994.48 in monetary donations for the district!
This is the ninth year the group has collected donations for the school district.
"We love doing this, we love our community, we love our school district. Next year will be ten years and it's going to be bigger and better," said Chris Gustafson!
