Parent-Teacher Conferences are on Oct. 5 & 6 in the Rock Island-Milan School District.

 

Parents are encouraged to check with their child’s school building for a schedule of conference times and activities. Rock Island High School is hosting “Parent University” sessions on Thursday, Oct. 5 from 5-8 p.m. Sessions include College Board Resources, FAFSA/Financial Aid, Career Education Pathways, AP and Dual Credit Options among other topics.

 

There is no school for elementary buildings on Thursday, Oct. 5 and Friday, Oct. 6. Junior High and High School students do not have school on Friday, Oct. 6.

 

Fall Intersession Break follows for the next two weeks Oct. 9 – 20. Students return to school on Monday, Oct. 23 for the second quarter of the school year.
